WESPAC 2023: Scotland representatives announced

News from Simon Gillam on Scotland's WESPAC player selections.

The three players to represent Scotland at the 2023 WESPA Championship in Las Vegas are Paul Allan, Neil Scott and Stu Harkness.

A selection was made in December from players who expressed an interest, and the selected players have all now confirmed participation. Selection was based mainly on end-2022 ratings (ABSP and WESPA) but also took account of players' level of activity in 2022, although on this occasion there were no minimum requirements for numbers of games played in a qualifying period.

Players must be Scottish resident, be born in Scotland or have at least one Scottish-born parent.
