OnBoard 183 and ABSP AGM Pack

The latest edition of OnBoard complete with AGM pack is now available from the ABSP database website (login required), and postal copies should also be arriving soon.

There are two motions on the AGM agenda, and members have until 21st August to vote by post or by email to the secretary, Laura Finley. Ahead of the AGM, votes can also be passed to Laura in person at the BMSC until 12 noon on 25th August. Full details are on the voting page of the AGM pack.

We have hundreds of members, but last year, motions were decided by around 60 voters, with fewer than 20 proxy or postal votes received. This year, in particular, the motions really do deal with topics that will affect all members and so we encourage everyone to make their vote count, whether they can attend the AGM or not.

We have an ever growing members-only discussion group on Facebook which is getting busier over time. If you would like to join in with the chat, we would love to see you there. The group is appropriately titled ABSP Discussion. For anyone interested in taking part in regular online leagues with members, we also have a Facebook group, ABSP Online with around 150 members signed up. New leagues run every 2 weeks, in a multi-divisional format with promotion and relegation. I would reiterate that both these groups are for current ABSP members only, and any applications to join from non-members will be rejected.
