Ross Mackenzie

Ross is an Accounting and Economics graduate who funds his Scrabble habits working as a finance assistant in a Glasgow college, as well as seasonal work marking exam scripts. His interests include playing oboe in a local orchestra, and reading high-brow classical literature in an effort to appear well-read.

Ross started playing Scrabble in 1999, after a couple of trips to London as part of the National Schools Scrabble Championships in 1993 and 1994. He currently plays in the Scottish Scrabble League and local tournaments, with occasional appearances south of the border.

His greatest Scrabble achievements is finishing second in the Scottish Masters.
