Len joined the ABSP in 2004, he runs his own removal business and is happily married to Linda.

Len introduced increased prize funds into tournament scrabble culminating with the UK Open in 2008.

His interests include Snooker, darts, pool and rock and roll. Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, The Everley Brothers and Elvis are amongst his favourite artistes.

A mediocre scrabble player Len has never been rated less than 138 or more than 151 his ambition is to reach 160. Time will tell! :)
