Amy Byrne
Amy discovered Scrabble in 1984 and on moving to Edinburgh in 1985 joined the Edinburgh Scrabble Club.

Amy won the Scottish Championship in 1987 and 1993 and the Scottish Masters Tournament in 1998. Joining the ABSP Committee at the beginning of 1998, she soon took over from Gareth Williams as Secretary relinquishing the role to Laura Finley at the 2008 AGM. Amy has also been President of Edinburgh Scrabble Club, was a founder member of the Leith SC, she founded the Scottish Scrabble League and is currently its President.
