We are pleased to present The 3rd UK Open. Held at the excellent Aston Court Hotel aside the historical city of Coventry the tournament offers up to 38 games of Scrabble over 5 days. The inaugural UK Open in 2008 was one of the first tournaments in the UK to be internationally rated and we are happy to accept entries from around the world.

The 2009 event was won by the highest active internationally rated player Helen Gipson and attracted players from countries such as Australia, Malta, Japan, Germany, Ghana and the world champion Nigel Richards from Malaysia.

Running alongside the open division will be up to 3 divisions of 19 players who will play 36 games in a double round robin format. The prizes have been bolstered further for 2010 with each round robin winner taking home £1,500. These divisions are open to all players ABSP rated 159 and under.

We are limiting entries to 100 players so an early booking is advised.
