The WESPA 2nd European Open Scrabble Championship is a 4 day tournament taking place in Sliema at the lavish four star Victoria Hotel. The event precedes The Malta Open held 14th-16th May.

Located a couple of minutes away from the Mediterranean in this picturesque urban landscape the tournament boasts a significant prize fund of £1,500 fought for across 32 WESPA and ABSP rated games by competitors from across the world.

Offering 120 guestrooms the hotel boasts indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fully equipped fitness centre, saunas, a steam room, a sun terrace and a state-of-the-art spa.
