BOURNEMOUTH SPRING CHARITY ROUNDISH ROBIN TOURNEY


Organised by Bournemouth Scrabble Club for the benefit of the Bournemouth Society for the Visually Impaired.  The BSVI are providing the Hall, Runners and Tea-Ladies.  The Society will also be running a raffle which we hope you will support generously.

DATE:		Sunday 10th May 2009				DISABLED ACCESS

VENUE:	Rooper Hall, 5 Victoria Park Road, Moordown, Bournemouth  BH9 2RB.

FORMAT:	Roundish Robin (Groups of 8 players) six games, some groups may consist of 6 or 10 players if made necessary by late cancellations and no-shows.   ABSP rated.   Group allocation by rating or indicated strength.  Adjudication using ABSP word list currently operative. 

TIME:		Registration 09.30 - 10.00.  Game 1  10.10, Game 2  11.15, Game 3 12.20, Lunch 
Game 4  13.50, Game 5  15.00, Raffle, Game 6 16.25, Prizes 17.30.
These times are a guide and the timing of the lunch break is flexible.  It is recommended that a picnic lunch is brought as the allocated lunch break does not allow  time to visit a pub / restaurant. 

PRIZES:	1st  in each group.  Trophies, Spot Prizes.

COST:		£13.00 to include tea / coffee throughout the day and  60p ratings levy.
Add £2 if not an ABSP member.  No refunds for late cancellations.

TIMERS:	Timers will be used, set to 25 minutes per player per game.
